Kids in Motion (KIM)

Daily Academic Focus * Family-Centered Approach * Grade-Specific Classrooms * AAA Electives

Kids In Motion (KIM) is an after-school academic enrichment program for children ages 5 to 12. Since 1995, KIM has helped students K-5 achieve or maintain a 2.0 grade point average or better while increasing their Reading, Writing, and Mathematics performance by one whole letter grade or more. Children receive 15 weekly hours of academic instruction, tutoring, and guided parental support. KIM also introduces children to positive social activities, and provides a unique educational environment of hope and encouragement for lifetime learning. We currently have 112 children enrolled.

KIM’s unique educational approach creates a constructive working relationship bridge between public school teachers and child, as well as child and parents. As a result, we are able to customize additional tutoring and academic support for children that need the most attention.

The next Books & Breakfast will be held Saturday, February 25 from 9:30 am - 11:30 am for 2nd and 3rd graders only. We look forward to seeing everyone!
